2x positions hosted by Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, working predominantly within the Preventative Measures/Cultural Change workstream but working closely with your peers within the Psychological Assessment and Therapy Service workstream hosted at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust with the possibility of primary role rotation at 12 months.

We offer a range of services designed to promote resilience, reduce stress, and enhance the overall wellbeing of our dedicated staff. We are seeking motivated and compassionate Band 5 Assistant Psychologists to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of fostering a supportive and healthy work environment for all healthcare workers in the region.
Alongside a specialist 1:1 therapy service we offer a range of preventative interventions including Schwartz rounds, trauma training, coaching and team support.
This is a hybrid role, working remotely and in person across the whole of the West Yorkshire Health & Care Partnership, meaning there will be frequent travel across the area of West Yorkshire.
You can find out more about our service at Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub :: Workforce Transformation (wystaffwellbeinghub.co.uk) and our 2023/2024 Annual Report showcases the work and achievements of the last financial year and can be found here: https://workforce.wypartnership.co.uk/download_file/view/892/486, Working closely with a team of qualified psychologists, psychotherapists and other professionals these roles will support the creation, delivery, evaluation and design of a full range of interventions.
Additionally, the LYPFT roles will:
· Support and enhance the professional psychological care of service users within agreed service areas
· Assist in clinical related administration, conduct of audits, evaluation, and project work
· Assist in delivery of teaching and training of other professionals
· Assist in the preparation of papers for publication
· Undertake psychological assessment, screening and delivery of psychological interventions in the appropriate setting, under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists.
Additionally, the BDCT roles will:
· Conduct psychological assessments.
· Develop/ Support psychological formulations for individual service users that contribute towards the overall assessment of their care needs, using an appropriate theoretical framework.
· Collaboratively establish individual service user's goals towards recovery.
· Deliver psychological interventions to service users; CBT informed structured interventions, guided self-help, co-facilitated group work.
· Support the audit and research activities of the service.
· Support the psychological therapy services through data collection & analysis as part of audit, service evaluation and research initiatives.
