Are you passionate about working alongside individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties? Would you be like to be part of a dynamic and innovative psychological service? We are seeking a committed and motivated assistant psychologist to enhance the psychological provision available on our adult of working age acute inpatient wards in Oxford., Under the supervision of qualified psychological practitioners, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to deliver a range of psychological interventions both on an individual basis as well as within groups., We are seeking an assistant psychologists to work within our acute inpatient wards for adults with complex and severe mental health difficulties. You will work with a range of presentations and deliver brief psychological interventions. Indirectly, the Assistant Psychologist will offer support and direction to the rest of the ward team in the application of psychological theory or interventions. This includes development of resources and delivering training sessions. Non-clinical work would include assisting with administration, completing patient related data in electronic recording systems, including risk assessment and care planning. Further, you may support data collection, statistical analysis, and the development of research projects, teaching and project work.
