Full Job Description

We have been trading successfully with schools since 2011 and have seen demand for our services grow year on year. The employment of permanent Assistant Psychologists is a significant successful development for the service in supporting ongoing quality services.

We are able to offer you a wide range of enriching experiences to psychology graduates who have had substantial experience of working with children and young people within educational settings. This will include opportunities to assist with locality based or city-wide casework, and contribute to development work, research and to the delivery of training. This role will also involve Assistant Psychologists in contributing to our statutory work.

We are looking to appoint people with good relevant undergraduate or postgraduate psychology degree qualifications (GBC eligibility), who are committed to applying their psychological knowledge in promoting positive educational, social and emotional outcomes for city's children and young people. We want colleagues who are well organised, good communicators, able to take responsibility for managing their own workload and committed to partnership working.

We are committed to promoting professional development at all levels. We are also a friendly and highly supportive service where collaboration and peer supervision are actively encouraged. The service comprises of four area teams based in three offices across the city.
