About the role
Are you ready to get hands-on with nature and make a difference to your local environment? As an Assistant Ranger with Huntingdonshire District Council, you'll play a vital role in managing our parks and nature reserves for both people and wildlife.
From practical conservation tasks like habitat management, path maintenance, and ecological surveys, to supporting volunteer groups and engaging with visitors, no two days will be the same. You'll be part of a dedicated team working to protect and enhance a variety of natural habitats, ensuring our open spaces remain safe, welcoming, and bursting with biodiversity.
You'll also support the delivery of exciting events and educational activities, inspiring people of all ages to connect with nature.
