Full Job Description

A dynamic, proactive and caring person is required to support, mentor and work alongside students who need additional time to self-regulate, complete their work and reflect on their approach to learning. The successful candidate will work alongside a group of students from 11-16 years old, monitoring and tracking their progress and help them successfully reintegrate into the main learning environment. An appropriate candidate would have good English and literacy skills, good ICT skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff and external services working to support the students to be successful.   • Term time only plus 10 days Salary: Grade 6 Scp 20-25 - £26,722 - £29,941 The academy is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all of its employees and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is exempt under the rehabilitation of the young offenders act 1974 and the amendments to the expectations order 1975 2013 and 2020 and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
