Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. Assistant Regional Operations Manager

Base office location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate

£42,553- £47,032 per year plus Company Car

40 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Regional Operations Manager to join our Estates Team. This role sits within the Estates East team, covering multiple areas. Responsible for the delivery of soft services such as cleaning, caretaking and grounds maintenance work. You will work in cohesion with the Regional Operations Manager and look after key projects and aspects of the day to day management of the operation.

The role of Assistant Regional Operations Manager will include:

-Exploring internalisation of services currently contracted out evaluating the best way forward
-Support the senior management team to develop and maintain process improvement through the creation of an innovative environment for operational employees to have creative thought sharing processes and tools
-Management of health and safety aspects of operations, ensuring business responsibilities are delivered in a safe manner
-Identification and allocation of resources to ensure effective use of self-delivery teams in line with financial and operational requirements

Skills and experiences:

-Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
-Experience of managing multi site maintenance contracts in a commercially focussed role
-Proven experience of delivering services within budget
-Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop people
-Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service
-A knowledge of the Estate Services function and management of soft services such as cleaning and grounds maintenance is advantageous
-This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
