Assistant Residence Manager - Vita Student

We're seeking an Assistant Residence Manager to help deliver this outstanding level of service for our residents in First Street. Role & responsibilities An important role within the business, the Assistant Residence Manager will be responsible for ensuring the building, its services and amenities and our colleagues are working together to achieve our high brand standards. The ideal candidate will be a warm, welcoming, professional, people person with the ability to build relationships with our residents, have a keen eye for detail, be well organised and meticulous in ensuring the free running of our buildings. Tasks will include:

• Liaising with residents, completing building tours, maintaining customer databases for communications, and resolving or escalating any issues which may arise
• Supporting the sales and marketing team with the marketing of the residence to ensure it reaches occupancy and arrears are avoided
• Completing regular building compliance walks to ensure; brand standards are met, there are no health and safety issues and items are in good working order
• Overseeing the localised delivery of events across the building
• Ensuring the building is clean and maintained to the highest standard, managing issues with building maintenance and housekeeping
• Reporting into the management team
• Build relationships with key stakeholders such as the universities and local businesses
• Develop, manage and build the residence team, supporting with recruitment and HR
  
  Be an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic manager with experience in a customer facing industry
• Be able to influence and develop relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients
• Possess high personal standards and attention to detail
• Possess excellent planning and organisational skills
• Be highly self-motivated and flexible
• Be passionate about going above and beyond for the residents
• Creative and imaginative when it comes to organizing events
