Assistant Retail Operations Manager

Durham University's Retail and Hospitality team seeks to appoint an experienced Assistant Retail Operations Manager to support the Retail Operations Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day performance at our Maiden Castle Café & Club Room and our Café at the Botanic Gardens.

With excellent team management skills and a passion for delivering food and beverage service excellence, the post-holder will have commercial experience, preferably within a branded high-street chain, hotel or university.

Experience planning, managing and delivering events is crucial and a key part of this role along with knowledge of managing the sale of alcohol in a bar setting and off the premises.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good business acumen with a proven record of accomplishment in driving turnover and exceeding customer expectations., Disability Confident
