Full Job Description
We are currently looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our Group F team based in Huntingdon, Cambridge. Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with family members, the successful candidate will demonstrate the values of The Edmund Trust and be adaptable and friendly with a passion for supporting people with a learning disability. This service supports a young lady who loves to go out with her staff team for walks, swimming and doing arts and crafts. She will communicate with staff using pictures cards, gestures, her tablet and because of this she relies on the staff team to understand her needs, likes and dislikes so that we can support her to enjoy her life.

- Able to work as a team but also confident at lone working
- Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
- Are a driver with your own car If you have (or are working towards) a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3, minimum) we would love to hear from you. You will need to be passionate and motivated about getting the support right for people and be able to coach and mentor staff with confidence.

As part of this role, you will be included on an out of hours on call rota covering all services across The Edmund Trust as Tier 1 support. This rota is shared across all managers and is typically an average of 1 week in every 3 months. The role is full time - 35 hours per week, the starting salary is £29,447 per annum This post is open to female applicants only as the role is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
