Assistant Shop Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to work in our beautiful Boutique store in Cheam Village, two days per week, to be part of a team working to increase funding, to support the services offered by St Raphael's Hospice., As Assistant Shop Manager you will work with the Shop Manager and team of volunteers to meet income generation targets, Gift Aid, Volunteers and stock. You should have an artistic flare so you are able to create and maintain a visually engaging shop window, to maximise the presence of St Raphael's Hospice in Wimbledon Village.

• Proven retail management experience or relevant management qualification.
• Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
• A keen eye for high quality merchandise and ability to distinguish between labels and high street items.
• Ability to carry out all aspects of manual handling.
• Knowledge and or experience of recruiting, training and maintaining volunteers.
• Good IT skills.
