+ Completion of GMP training and proactively ensuring that GMP refresher training is completed on an annual basis thereafter (within future positions in the department thereafter if applicable).
+ Completion of GCP training and proactively ensuring that GCP refresher training is completed on a two yearly basis thereafter (within future positions in the department thereafter if applicable).
+ Completion of induction accreditation
+ Completion of sanitisation training module and performing role routinely thereafter
+ To attend all appropriate meetings, keep ones self-informed, and communicate information
+ Adherence to Trust Always values

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, pro-active and motivated Assistant Technical Officer to join our friendly Technical Services Team. This post commences as Band 2 Assistant Technical Officer and progresses to a Band 3 Senior Assistant Technical Officer once the baseline competency criteria have been achieved.
The post involves manufacturing a variety of different types of IV medications aseptically prepared for patients use on the wards in a controlled manufacturing environment. This is a rotational post covering CIVAS, Parental Nutrition & Cytotoxic units. You will need to be able to work efficiently and follow procedures at all times. Due to the critical nature of our work, you will have to meet the highest standards of discipline, personal hygiene and attention to details.
You must have GCSE English Language and Mathematics to a minimum of Grade C/4 (or equivalent). Candidates must be friendly, flexible and maintain good working relationships with co-workers - upholding the Trust's Always Values.
You are expected to be committed to work a maximum 1 in 6 weekend rota from 9am - 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
