Full Job Description
There is currently a restructure within our SEN Department to work alongside our newly recruited SENCo. As a new member of this busy team at Knole Academy, you can join our school and make a difference.
An organised and flexible person is required to work in our busy AEN office supporting our SENCo and line managing our LSA team so experiencing of managing a team and excellent administration skills are essential.
This is a full time role: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks term time plus an additional 3 weeks.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Under the supervision of the SENCo
To line manage the LSAs and ensure their effective deployment in supporting students
+ To provide administration support for the SENCo including compilation and completion of EHCP applications and annual reviews
+ To oversee interventions, monitor their effectiveness and update Edukey accordingly
+ To create and oversee the Pupil Passports for all SEN students on Edukey
+ To ensure the SEN Register is accurately maintained and updated
+ To help ensure the smooth transition of new students with SEN into Knole Academy
+ To participate in training and other learning activities as required and attend relevant meetings to ensure own continuing development
+ To carry out other duties as may be deemed reasonable by the SENCo
Please note this is a support staff role so there is no requirement to have QTS.

Introduction to Knole Academy
Knole Academy has a capacity for 1550 students aged 11-19. We are an all ability co-educational school with a grammar stream which has developed exponentially over the last few years. We foster an engaging learning ethos, using state-of-the-art technologies to develop new skills and create high aspirations.
