Full Job Description

An exciting full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen in South London and Maudsley's Strategy and Transformation Directorate for a focused and motivated Assistant Transformation Manager. This post will support a Trust-wide programme of work which is; focused on ensuring that the Trust is future-proofed, energised, agile and forward thinking in the implementation of its strategy, + This is a full time permanent opportunity to make a difference in the role of Assistant Transformation Manager.
+ The post will support the Transformation team in the achievement of its objectives to provide a professional, skilled and competent service to stakeholders in the delivery of transformation programmes.
+ The post holder will lead the co-ordination of the Transformation Office to create a structured framework ensuring plans are clearly defined, measured, accurately monitored, appropriately reported, and subsequently evaluated.
+ The successful candidate will also be working integrally with colleagues across the Trust to translate lessons learnt into strategic plans as part of continuous quality improvement.
+ The post holder will contribute to development of overall programme management plans to support the coordination of programme and project activities.
+ The post holder will bring both strategic and project management experience and skills, with a particular ability to work jointly with colleagues and partners to plan and deliver on priorities that meet the Trust's commitments and the needs of our service users, staff and communities. project management qualification is a desirable requirement of this role.
+ The Assistant Transformation Manager is a key part of a small team and works with a broad range of colleagues across the Trust, often working independently and to their own initiative to identify opportunities for programme improvement., + The Strategy and Transformation Directorate is responsible for key strategic functions such as strategy development and implementation, refreshing the annual strategic plan, leading the annual goal agreement planning and overall process, designing and delivering all external engagement relating to development and delivery of the strategy and ensuring that the experiences of our service users and carers can be captured regularly to inform the priorities of the Trust.
+ The Transformation Team advises on, monitors and supports the portfolio of strategic programmes, projects and annual goals which will facilitate delivery of the Trust's Strategic Ambitions
The post holder will:
+ play a key role in co-ordinating and facilitating weekly Executive strategy & transformation huddles, and in maintaining the Trust Strategy Deployment Room.
+ The post holder will be responsible for the management of crucial programme meetings
+ Track milestone delivery and escalate when there is a variance to plan.
+ support the analysis and monitoring of annual goals to translate the Trust strategy into action, working closely with the Operational and Corporate Directorates.
+ Coordinate project prioritisation and roadmap reporting for the Transformation programme.
+ Process invoices and raise purchase orders
+ Able to present to clinical teams about the Trust Strategy and the relevant Transformation projects
