Full Job Description

Work as part of global MSAT to perform established analytical methods and develop new analytical methods as required to deliver non-routine testing and informational testing for business critical, global projects across small molecule, large molecule and vaccine modalities ensuring that all results are accurately recorded and work is compliant to the appropriate Quality and EHS standards.,

  • Independent deliver planned testing aligned to team priorities across a range of techniques including; HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, GC, KF etc.

  • Compile, analyse and communicate experimental results including in written reports and presentations. Escalate problems and contribute to troubleshooting. Support the interpretation of results to achieve project objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the Analytical Science UK HUB and Process Science teams to support delivery of objectives.

  • Contribute to method development and experimental design aligned to project or department goals.

  • Adhere to and help maintain the highest levels of Safety, GLP and housekeeping across the department. Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to an appropriate standard and raise issues as necessary., We believe in an agile working culture for all our roles.     We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Graduate qualification (BSc)

  • Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment, ideally with working knowledge of chromatography methods

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with multiple customers.

  • Ability to use problem solving and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.


  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Knowledge of core analytical techniques and corporate systems ie Ariba, eLNB, VQD and Empower.
