Full Job Description
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team and help deliver the strategy for Low Code/Power Apps supporting an array of DWP business areas, creating varied solutions within the Power Platform.
As an Associate Application Engineer, you will deal with the day-to-day management and development of Power Platform applications and contribute towards their design. You will be responsible for supporting the operational stability of the Application solutions and be in a position to affect change in the on-going robustness and resilience of those products.
You will collaborate with senior developers and support the Application Development Lifecycle Process as part of a delivery team focused on one or more products.
You will be working as a Power Platform developer within an Agile environment. You will be reporting to an Application Engineer working alongside other application engineers and roles within a delivery squad (Delivery Manager, Business Analysts, Dev Ops, Architects and Testers).
Your day to day will be supporting applications which have been built using PowerApps and Power Automate, as well as converting legacy systems into low code applications and building new applications from scratch. You will also be actively participating in improving the capability of the Power Platform team, as well as presenting at Show and Tells to share achievements with the team and stakeholders. As part of this role you will be collaborating with Stakeholders from within DWP Digital and wider DWP.
