  • What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
  • The identification, preparation & execution of both local & field-based demo requests in line with export control licensing.
  • Operate, manage, and develop the Demo Pool order tracking, and equipment database, both h/w & s/w.
  • Perform & maintain complete inventory of Demo Pool assets and provide regular equipment status report.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the technical reference software and documentation library.
  • Back loading & Processing of faulty equipment and testing of returned demo pool equipment to agreed service levels.
  • Provide training support to customers, at suitable locations throughout the operational sphere of L3Harris interests.
  • Also willing to travel to support National & International customers both in the field and at base locations.
  • Repair, maintenance, calibration of all CSUK based demo pool hardware in conjunction with US demo pool.
  • What you'll bring The role of Applications Engineer requires the following experience and skills:
  • Previous experience working with military and tactical radio communications systems.
  • Knowledge of tactical radio systems to include the Operation, Maintenance & execution of static and field-based demonstrations.
  • A working Knowledge of networking, telephony applications, radio techniques, Antenna's & propagation
  • Provision of in country & remote technical advice and support to customers as well as via telephone, e-mail or written media.
  • Important to know Due to the nature of our work many our roles require a UK nationality and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
