Do you want to take a lead in health and safety? Do you have excellent knowledge and experience within the built environment? Do you want to work within a multi-disciplinary environment, with genuine scope for progression? Pick Everard are looking to employ an Associate Building Regulations Lead to join our flourishing Health and Safety team. Pick Everard is a multi-professional practice and delivers designs and projects across the built environment. In doing so, we accept the duties of the Designer and Principal Designer. With the implementation of the Building Safety Act we are seeking to strengthen our internal technical competence and take steps to ensure our projects are compliant with Building Regulations and to be able to provide accurate advice to our clients on how to navigate building control requirements. This is a brand new role, meaning you will be key in assisting the developing of policies and procedures that support a complaint delivery of our projects, with the
opportunity to expand the services where there is demand. You will be ideally located within commuting distance to one of our 15 x UK offices, and will benefit from agile working. Within the role, you will be in full control and have ownership over your projects; providing you with a great level of autonomy. You'll become part of a business with an excellent reputation in the industry for client care and quality with a diverse range of industry experts for you to collaborate with and learn from. Chartership with relevant association such as CABE or RICS. - Level 6 or above qualification in design, construction or Building Control. - Minimum of 5 years practical experience of managing building regulations. - Sound knowledge of wide range of construction techniques, sectors and building types. - Ability to work at a senior level. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. - Able to interpret designs and design challenges and offer design solutions. - Good business acumen, knowledge of managing budgets - Experience managing teams/line management
