We are recruiting for an Associate Civil / Structural Engineer to lead an experienced and dynamic team. The role will be linked to our Newark office in the East Midlands but will allow for agile, and hybrid working.

About The Design Business:

RPS Design Division delivers projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy and more as we strive to achieve the right balance between form and function when faced with competing priorities around sustainability, materiality, cost and constructability. Digitalisation is at the core of our delivery model allowing our clients and their stakeholders to really experience our designs right from project concept stage and through drawing on expertise spanning decades, industries and disciplines, we assist clients to harmonise design drivers through inspired engineering, architecture and development services.

What you'll be doing:
Management of project team resources output technical quality and delivery
Deliver quality Civil Engineering solutions and designs for commercial and logistics development projects which achieve or exceed the client's expectations
Provide expert advice and support to the team through extensive engineering technical knowledge
Develop client contacts to build new works stream and grow the RPS business in Newark
Visiting site and attending site meetings
Attendance at external design meetings with clients and other design team members
Working closely as required with support functions within RPS, such as HR, Finance, Marketing / Bid
Additional duties as required

The most suitable candidate will most likely be a chartered engineer and have strong leadership skills with extensive technical knowledge of civil engineering. This is a key role in the success of the team and business and represents a real opportunity to build your career with this progressive business where you will work on interesting, challenging and flagship projects. Ideally you will have gained previous extensive commercial, logistics and residential sector experience and you will be proficient in the use of Civils 3D and AutoCAD., Disability Confident
