Full Job Description
The role of Associate Dean (LED Development) is to support the Postgraduate Dean at a senior level and guide, support, and manage the activities related to the development of Locally Employed Doctors (LEDs) in line with the Long-Term Workforce Plan (LTWP) commitment to this group of doctors. The postholder will work closely with NHS England's postgraduate medical education reform team to support delivery of the "Blueprint for Change" programme which is aligned to the train and retain pillars of the LTWP, to encourage providers of NHS services to undertake activities to improve the experience of LEDs by improving opportunities for career progression, skills development, induction and access to educational opportunities, in addition to an improved experience of working in the NHS by valuing them and creating a sense of belonging.,

- Developing a portfolio of skills in leadership, whilst connecting with the wider system, whilst promoting and championing the LED role., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
