Full Job Description

Oxford Saïd Business School is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and passionate leader to serve as Associate Dean of MBA and Executive Degrees. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced professional to shape and oversee our prestigious MBA and Executive Degree programmes, which attract top-tier aspiring and senior leaders from around the globe. The Associate Dean will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reputation of Oxford Saïd's full-time and part-time taught graduate programmes and executive diplomas, aligning them with the school's strategic objectives and ensuring they meet the needs of the global business landscape., As Associate Dean, you will lead on strategic oversight and operational excellence for Oxford Saïd's MBA and Executive Degree programmes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the strategy for programme size, composition, and recruitment to align with Oxford Saïd's growth and mission. Collaborate closely with programme directors and senior colleagues to deliver a high-quality pipeline of diverse applicants.
  • Programme Quality & Delivery: Take overall accountability for the quality, relevance, and innovation of Oxford Saïd's MBA and executive programmes. Partner with academic chairs and faculty on curriculum development, integration, and Oxford-based and international programme design.
  • Global Reputation & Rankings: Champion Oxford Saïd's position within global business school rankings, working to ensure top placements and leveraging global partnerships, alumni relations, and corporate outreach.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work seamlessly with departments such as Admissions, Alumni Relations, Programme Support, and Career Development to ensure an outstanding student and faculty experience. Engage with external stakeholders, including alumni, employers, and visiting faculty, to expand Oxford Saïd's network and influence.
  • Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives: Advocate for initiatives that support gender diversity and the career development of women students, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

    Extensive leadership experience in higher education or executive education, with a proven ability to manage complex programmes and diverse teams.
  • A sophisticated understanding of the global business education landscape and experience in programme design, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
  • Strong strategic vision, with the capacity to enhance Oxford Saïd's reputation on a global scale.
  • Exemplary relationship-building and ambassadorial skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for advancing the mission of Oxford Saïd, coupled with a commitment to diversity, quality, and innovation in education.
