We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join Group Asset Liability management team, part of Group Corparate Treasury at Associate Director / Manager level.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team at the heart of Treasury that helps the Retail and Commercial Banking divisions to stabilise and optimise their earnings through the management and pricing of interest rate and funding risks.

We are operating in an exciting market environment and customer behaviours are rapidly evolving, making it a very interesting time to join the team

What will you be doing?

  • Engaging with business units to understand products and customer behaviours

  • Proposing Hedging solutions to business units to mitigate and manage risks

  • Using your knowledge of Interest rate risk to develop methodologies and procedures, to ensure the Bank remains compliant with regulatory requirements

  • Delivery of high quality and insightful MI and strategic analysis

  • Developing your knowledge of wider Treasury activities and building a network both in Treasury and with our key partners throughout the wider Group.

  • Supporting projects across team and wider treasury

  • Why Lloyds Banking Group

We're on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we're shaping finance for good. We're focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.

  • Experience of working in a Treasury function within a fast-paced organisation.

  • Understanding of IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk Banking Book) regulation and capital requirements

  • Experience of presenting to a range of stakeholders

  • Strong risk mind set with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong collaboration skills, including a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships across a range of colleagues.

  • High-energy, solution-orientated, self-motivated and show intellectual curiosity.

  • And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Knowledge of Transfer pricing techniques

  • Experience of using data automation tools to enhance and automate MI and processes

  • Understanding of and experience in treasury activities from legal entity viewpoint

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture. We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative. And it's why we especially welcome applications from under-represented groups. We're disability confident. So if you'd like reasonable adjustments to be made to our recruitment processes, just let us know

  • We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

  • An annual performance-related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares

  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

  • 30 days' holiday, with bank holidays on top

  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies

  • Want to do amazing work, that's interesting and makes a difference to millions of people? Join our journey.
