Full Job Description
As the Associate Director of Education the post-holder will provide strategic direction and leadership of education and training and additionally lead and manage the education department. They will create a culture of lifelong learning within the organisation and help us realise our ambition of shaping the workforce of the future by supporting all colleagues to develop and grow and inspiring our students and learners throughout their training. They will also provide a crucial role in providing expertise and strategic leadership to our external stakeholders., Engaging and networking with external stakeholders ensuring parity, resource, and support for the cancer care agenda regarding workforce, skills, training and education.
Developing relationships with Universities across the North West of England in a mutually beneficial way ensuring a successful flow of the multi-professional workforce into practice to support the national workforce strategies.
Front facing Trust ambassador to National Health Service England (NHSE) and Integrated Care Board, ensuring close partnership working, maximising on opportunities to generate investment
Working collaboratively with the Workforce & OD function to provide a multitude of opportunities to engage, inspire and recruit students, apprentices, and other learners
Creating and maintain a number of initiatives for students, apprentices and learners that support and maximize wellbeing and retention
