Full Job Description

Teenage Cancer Trust Associate Director of Fundraising Location: Hybrid (London office, Holborn WC1V) or remote. Salary: Circa £70K per annum FTE Contract: Permanent,-35 hours per week. Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity providing cancer care specially designed for young people, is seeking an Associate Director of Fundraising to play a critical role within the charity as the strategic leader of a multi-million pound fundraising portfolio. Teenage Cancer Trust fund specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units within the NHS. They're here for anyone diagnosed with cancer aged-24, and their loved ones too, to ensure there's someone in their corner right from the start. The role will be responsible for providing strategic vision, inspiration and direction to the charitys fundraising directorate and for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, approaches and initiatives that are grounded in a deep understanding of both the organisation and its target audiences needs.
The post-holder will be involved in high level and complex internal and external relationship management and influencing, as well as being responsible for identifying both risks and opportunities from the wider environment. As well as developing and delivering cross-cutting and multi-year business plans, budgets and reforecasts, the role also sits on the senior leadership team, collectively holding accountability for the charitys day to day performance. The ideal candidate will have broad experience across the fundraising portfolio, with a proven track record of delivering significant income targets and driving cross-portfolio decision making. A skilled communicator, you will have a strong track record of engaging, energising and mobilising large teams through visionary strategic leadership. You will also have a high degree of self-awareness, emotional intelligence and commitment to personal development, alongside experience in setting vision and strategy, and translating these into
business plans, budgets and performance frameworks.
