The role will oversee a range of community services and work closely with the Associate Director of Operational Delivery and Neighbourhood Development to transform the way we deliver our services. The role offers the opportunity to work with external stakeholders both at east Surrey place and Surrey Heartlands ICS level.

As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be integral to the good governance of the organisation attending relevant committees and providing assurance directly to the Board., The post holder is a key member of the operational leadership team reporting to the Director of Operations.

Working as part of the Director of Operations Leadership team the post holder will drive the strategic direction set for the services and lead the work of the relevant operational teams into a delivery model that supports integrated working but ensures the efficiencies of delivering at place-based scale. A key component of the role will be to develop key strategic and collaborative relationships with other delivery partners across the east Surrey place.

The postholder will facilitate change across the health and care system, and with other system partners lead the transformation of services into new models of care with a clear focus on outcomes for our population. They will work with others within First Community and externally to develop and deliver the ambition of integrated care through the development of relationships with key stakeholders/system partners.

The post provides the opportunity to be an active participant in the organisations Board, providing operational expertise in their designated portfolio and therefore strengthening the assurance to Board via the Board Assurance meetings. They will attend and lead relevant items at the relevant Board sub-Committees.

The post holder will also be required to participate in the Operational Manager on call rota and to provide cover across the AD team.
