What we are looking for:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the organisation for an Associate Director (Band 8C). The post holder will assist the senior leadership team at NHS Elect, primarily within the Quality Improvement faculty to lead the development and implementation of the Quality Coach Development Programme. To lead the development of the new Systems Quality Improvement Practitioner and manage other QI programmes across the UK. The Associate Director will be responsible for a wide portfolio of work across the organisation.
The post will be offered without any London weighting (as this is a working from home role) - but we will award London weighting based on the home location (if applicable) of the successful candidate's post recruitment checks., The Associate Director plays a pivotal role in leading our delivery team, responsible for executing multiple support programs that align with NHS Elect's objectives and the needs of NHS organisations. The role demands flexibility in delivering these programs through on-site and digital platforms, with a particular focus on Quality Improvement (QI):
+ This role will lead the successful implementation of the National Quality Coach Development Programme
+ This role will lead the development of the new Systems Quality Improvement Practitioner programme working with stakeholders from across the country. The Associate Director will also lead day-long facilitation sessions, travel as necessary, and uphold NHS Elect's high delivery standards
+ The postholder must exhibit a strong commitment to QI and continuous self-improvement, becoming a subject matter expert.
Key responsibilities include designing and evolving QI training and development functions, working with other national bodies and educational institutions, and providing leadership across various NHS Elect initiatives:
+ The role requires managing complex stakeholder relationships and designing bespoke training materials
+ The role also involves strategic planning, budget management income generation, and leading innovation in content and delivery methods
+ The postholder is expected to translate complex concepts into actionable plans for diverse audiences, often navigating resistance to drive engagement and co-creation.
