Full Job Description

This new and exciting role will provide the post holder an opportunity to lead on workforce transformation programmes and financial sustainability plans to enable us to provide a strategic and coordinated approach to workforce planning here at WWL.

A key focus of this role will be to lead on strategic and operational workforce plans and provide HR leadership into digital workforce and informatics programmes for the Trust.

Providing workforce expertise into programmes of transformation and financial sustainability plans to enable us to provide a strategic and coordinated approach to workforce planning and transformation., Provide highly specialist knowledge and expertise to workforce transformation programmes across the Trust, leading the delivery of the programme and using clinical and operational leadership to drive forward the relevant programmes of work.

Plan and deliver the necessary schemes of work connected to workforce transformation, in particular, lead on the liaison with Health Education England in relation to bids for new roles for example, Advanced Practitioners, Approved Clinicians, and take a lead role on implementation, working in partnership with relevant professional departments.

To develop a strategic implementation plan which include highly complex facts requiring analysis, interpretation and a comparison of a range of options in relation to HR systems, including ESR.

Provide workforce expertise to Trust transformation programmes liaising with relevant HR Senior Leadership Team colleagues as needed to take a coordinated approach to the work attached to those programmes.

Lead on the coordination of submission of the workforce elements of the Operational Plan.
