Associate Director Project Manager

A unique opportunity to become integral to a groundbreaking, market leading, Construction Consultancy based in Leeds, as Associate Director Project Manager you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of high value sectors, including mixed-use developments, high rise residential, healthcare, education, commercial developments, offices, etc., As an Associate Director Project Manager, you will be responsible for servicing exciting projects valuing upwards of £50m, with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle, from inception to completion.

• Pre-construction


• Programme management


• Contract administration


• Risk management - including facilitating workshops to ensure that these activities are controlled within the project team including contractors, sub-contractors, and the supply chain


• Prepare and issue reports


• Stakeholder engagement and management


• Acting as Employers agent


• Post contract management


• Managing and developing a team of up to 10 Project Management professionals


• Business development


• Working in partnership with the Directors to grow and retain clientele
  
  The successful candidate for the Associate Director Project Manager job will be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering high value projects from inception to completion. You may also have had previous experience of assisting with the growth of a region, team and client base.


• Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally consultancy


• Be competent in using Microsoft Project and Excel


• Have comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles


• A good understanding of forms of building contract and experience of contract administration


• Have previous experience of NEC and JCT forms of contract


• Can engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively


• Have a track record of successfully delivering large schemes across the Northwest


• Have experience managing a team of Project Managers
