Full Job Description

We are looking for someone to lead and build upon the excellent NHS Skills Development Network already in place within North East & North Cumbria, providing development to our fantastic finance, procurement and digital staff so that they can support their organisations in the best way possible., The post holder will lead the Skills Development Network team, developing and implementing the overall NHS Skills Development Network Strategy for Finance, Procurement & Digital staff within the North East and North Cumbria, linking to appropriate national strategy and the North East and North Cumbria ICS agenda by working closely with the Integrated care board, Directors, Heads of Service and Skills Development Leads to ensure that appropriate local strategies and action plans are put in place.

Key deliverables will be :

1. The creation and execution of a strategic regional plan for developing finance, procurement & digital staff;

2. The design & delivery of a comprehensive range of training programs and events covering a broad range of topics;

3. Provision of support to organisations to ensure they are able to recruit a diverse range of talent into the service

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
