Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an Associate for our EMEA Hotels and Hospitality Capital Markets business line, focussed on the United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Warwick Street, London. EMEA travel may be required. ­­­­­

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, reviewing, and directly supporting the preparation of high-quality presentation materials for client pitches, investor information memorandums, and other transaction-related marketing documents


  • Participating in all parts of transaction processes, from pitch through to completion.

  • Developing a range of financial models that can evaluate the effects of different strategic alternatives under various capital structure scenarios and valuation approaches.

  • Take an analytical approach to reviewing financial and commercial performance among the broader macro-economic backdrop.

  • Prepare market intelligence information including commercial, financial and market analysis.

  • Working seamlessly with the wider EMEA team to deliver both single asset and portfolio transactions.

  • Undertaking hotel viewings with potential hotel investors across the United Kingdom markets.

  • Building strong, lasting relationships, for the benefit of JLL, with both existing and new target clients, as well as with internal cross-sector colleagues, locally, regionally, and globally.

  • Taking an active role in the team's Client Relationship Management activities.

  • Participate in wider team engagements, including attendance at national and international conferences, and other local industry engagements.

  • Maintain data health on appropriate databases keeping up to date with industry transactional information and metrics, including key investor information ensuring all investment requirements are accurate.

    Target exceptionally high levels of client satisfaction through adoption of best practice tools and techniques through to delivery of all output material.

  • Focus on increased business efficiency utilising key research platforms, both internally and externally.

  • Participate in JLL's continued growth initiatives by leading in terms of digital platform adoption and practice, including AI-enabled tools and techniques.

  • An agile approach combined with exceptional financial modelling, analytical and research skills.

  • Understanding of all stages of the transaction process

  • A good knowledge of hotels & hospitality real estate sector with 2-4 years' experience in consulting, real estate finance, banking, M&A, and experience of working with clients in a client facing role.

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills facilitating key client and stakeholder management.

  • Collegial and team oriented

  • Calm and focused under pressure and tight timelines.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires ability to manage competing priorities and projects.

  • Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook required.

  • Desirable: Experience in Salesforce, Argus Developer, data analytics, and/or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Embed the use of Salesforce; Horizon; CoStar/STR; Hotels Hub into daily activities.
