Join our PA dream team! Are you a driven, organised and proactive? Looking to take your career to new heights? Then join us at First Central as our Associate Executive Personal Assistant (PA) on a Fixed Term Contract to 31st October 2025.

Supporting the Executive Assistant to the Group CEO, you'll provide cover for the wider Executive PA team, with responsibility for maintaining high levels of confidentiality while delivering a professional and efficient service. From managing calendars to coordinating meetings and events, no two days will ever be the same.

Working flexibly, you'll spend most of your time working from home, ideally you'll live a commutable distance from our offices in either Salford Quays, Manchester or Haywards Heath, West Sussex - as you'll be required to attend our office when the Execs meet. But of course, it's your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.

Core skills we're looking for to succeed in the role:

  • PA Experience to a Team and/or Directors - providing comprehensive support to teams and directors, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.

  • Highly Organised and Systematic - high level of organisation and a systematic approach to tasks, ensuring that all projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.

  • Efficient and Attention to Detail with the Ability to Multi-task - combines efficiency with meticulous attention to detail, expertly handling multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills - excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levels.


  • What's involved:
  • Manage and co-ordinate Senior Executives/Manager diaries with conflicting priorities and able to resolve clashes swiftly and troubleshoot or escalate, as appropriate.

  • Provide efficient support to the Group CEO's Executive Assistant and cover for other absent P.A.'s during any times of their absence and travelling between offices.

  • Provide admin support directly to the Group CEO and other Executives on matters not covered by Group CEO's EA or other P.A.'s.

  • Co-ordinate arrangements for internal and external meetings (accommodation, itineraries, catering, travel) nationally and internationally (travel not required).

  • Organise, facilitate and attend (where necessary) meetings and events.

  • Process expense claims and purchase orders, invoices and receipting.

  • Support with email management where required, using own initiative to prioritise emails and flag important emails where necessary.

  • Assist with the production of documents and presentations, when required.

  • Welcome guests to the offices by greeting them and ensuring all their requirements are met during their visit to the First Central office.

  • Communicate professionally both internal and externally with key stakeholders.

  • Support with personal commitments on an ad hoc basis.

  • Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times.

  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times.

    A mix of skills, experience and initiative is essential for this role, together with an individual who is organised, enthusiastic, proactive and can display logical thinking in the workplace., PA experience to a Team and/or Directors

  • Highly organised and systematic

  • Good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of FCA requirements (including The Consumer Duty)
