Full Job Description

Are you ready to make your mark as part of the Infrastructure Finance practice in our London office? As an associate in our Infrastructure Finance team, you will apply sound judgment and excellent analytical skills to your work. Highly organised and self-motivated, you'll be a team player with a strong professional presence and client focus. In addition to strong academic credentials, you should possess exceptional technical skills and a solid foundation in infrastructure debt finance. You will work closely with financial sponsors and as their designated funder counsel, joining a fast-growing team with excellent career progression opportunities. Additionally, as a Senior Associate, you will have supervisory responsibilities, mentoring junior associates and trainees, and guiding them through complex transactions. We specialise in infrastructure acquisition financings and refinancings, acting for both infrastructure sponsors and finance providers. Our team has extensive experience in bank lending, European institutional funding, US private placements, and structured financing platforms across a broad spectrum of infrastructure assets.   • Advise clients on complex infrastructure finance transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings, involving a variety of asset classes such as airports, energy transition businesses and digital infrastructure such as data centers.
  • Lead and manage the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of infrastructure finance transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with other practice areas within the firm and coordinate with international offices on cross-border transactions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and trainees, delegate tasks appropriately and ensure that work is completed to a high standard., Our internal Recruitment team are responsible for all end-to-end lateral recruitment processes.   • Between four to six years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience and understanding of infrastructure finance transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings, from both the lender and sponsor side.
  • Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to prioritise and multi-task particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Able to interact positively at all levels and be a good team player.
  • Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • Driven by professional growth with strong professional presence.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior associates and trainees, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality work output.

  • This role is based in our London office. This role reports to the London Infrastructure Finance Partners.
  • Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
