Full Job Description

Southport College is looking for an Associate Lecturer in Hairdressing to join our teaching team on a temporary basis. As an Associate Lecturer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of Hairdressing qualifications levels 1-3, within the Department of Skills and Trades. You will undertake formal scheduled teaching, working with groups, individual learners and distance learners, facilitating their development in the subject and helping them to achieve their educational goals. You will be a committed, flexible and enthusiastic individual, who can engage and inspire our students. You will possess a relevant vocational advanced qualification, a teaching qualification and previous vocational experience in hairdressing. This is a part time, hourly paid role for 15 hours per week, covering a period of sickness absence.
