Full Job Description

The Brent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team is an acute service working with people in the community. The successful candidates will be part of a friendly and welcoming team, who support Adults (18 and above) who are experiencing mental health crisis/challenges in the community.

Ensuring a high standard of nursing and social care. To provide direct physical and psychological care to a designated group of service users through participation in the care planning, provision and evaluation of service user needs under the supervision of trained staff.

To assist in the provision of a community mental health care service to the residents of Brent., The post holder will contribute to the growth and maintenance of key functions of the clinical area by carrying out assigned tasks, involving direct and indirect care to service users, under minimal supervision and as directed by the Senior Practitioners/Team Leaders.

Following personal development planning and targeted training, the competent practitioner will be in a position to work more autonomously in supporting service users.

As a result you will have developed a broad underpinning knowledge at intermediate level, and have the ability to evaluate information and communicate effectively with a range of professionals.
