Our Payer Evidence Solutions practice helps our customers design and execute an evidence generation strategy meeting payer and health technology assessment (HTA) evidence requirements and effectively communicate their product's value story. Role description As an Associate Principal you will be able to develop business and implement innovative data-driven solutions with clients. Innovation is at the very core of RWS and this role. You will be responsible for engaging headquarters clients to develop integrated solutions addressing our customer's global needs to meet payer evidence requirements, integrating IQVIA's different offerings including our HEOR, pricing & market access and secondary data solutions. You understand both the technical HEOR components as well the market access strategy and your drive is to partner with our clients to provide them solutions across the spectrum from the early planning phase to execution and communication. Strategy setting and market building

  • Support implementing Payer Evidence Solutions business vision and objectives and the strategic development of the business
  • Identify new opportunities for integrated solutions
  • Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships to promote IQVIA market positioning, access to data and relationships with key influencing groups
  • Contribute to the development of the IQVIA thought leadership
  • Client leadership and project delivery
  • Consult with customers to fully understand their needs, develop high quality proposals to address these needs and lead project delivery
  • Engage senior leaders at key accounts to drive integrated payer evidence growth opportunities
  • Lead teams of RWS professionals in the design, development, and advise in delivery of complex projects to a high standard which meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Engage closely and supervise cross-functional IQVIA teams to ensure the full complement of IQVIA capabilities and solutions reaches customers

    Leadership experience in Healthcare with focus on HTA, HEOR and market access including working with senior clients
  • A track record of driving HQ/global deals, aligned with suitable offerings development experience
  • An established network of contacts in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and HTA bodies
  • A previous experience in consulting
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of health technology assessment, health economic modelling, evidence synthesis and evidence generation strategy
  • A high degree of understanding of the processes underpinning payer evaluation and the factors and drivers which impact product development.
  • Proven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual ideas and engage multiple stakeholders, internal and clients, to decision points
  • Coordinating with delivering principals to ensure work is delivered to high quality standards
  • A track record of thought leadership, publications and public speaking
  • Leadership experience in complex organizations with demonstrated results in aligning people without formal reporting relationships
  • Good understanding of prospective research methods such as Clinical Trials and Observational Research and retrospective research methods such as analyses conducted in healthcare databases
  • Word and PowerPoint competent, the ability to develop clear storylines and proposals.

  • Deep commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience, Candidates interested in joining our European Value and Payer Evidence Practice as an Associate Principal should have:
  • Typically, 8 or more years professional experience in Market Access, Pricing and/or HEOR strategy consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and ability to speak in detail about pricing, market access, evidence and HTA topics in a meaningful manner with depth of content knowledge, with a focus on European markets
  • Strong capability in managing large and/or multiple, multi-disciplinary projects effectively with knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques to solve problems
  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills to work effectively with complicated, conflicting or ambiguous information. Looks beyond the surface of issues to identify their underlying patterns and causes
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills including delivering presentations, chairing meetings, conducting workshops, and writing reports and business documents
  • Experience in managing flow of money and resources through an organization, and the need to get maximum value at each stage to achieve commercial objectives, such as profitability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted relationships
  • Proven skills in identifying, recruiting, mentoring/coaching, and retaining top talent for consulting practice teams
