Full Job Description

A high level of clinical decision making is required for this post therefore sound theoretical and practical knowledge relating to respiratory care is required from an experienced nurse / physiotherapist who strives to maintain clinical excellence.

The role will involve daily coordination of the respiratory specialist service and caseload management of this group of patients within both clinic and ward environment.

You will need excellent communication skills be able to deliver education and advice to patients, carers and health care professionals and be able to demonstrate your ability to work and make clinical decisions autonomously.

You will promote and develop high standards of care and work within the respiratory team supporting patients with respiratory conditions.

You will work in close collaboration with the respiratory department and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective pathway of care. This will include providing care in the ward and outpatient setting and communicating closely with primary care services.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our established specialist respiratory team for an experienced nurse / physiotherapist. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to develop in the role as associate clinical nurse specialist / specialist respiratory physiotherapist., This role is ideal for a nurse or physiotherapist with at least 2 years respiratory experience, with the drive and enthusiasm to be part of expanding respiratory specialist service.
