Full Job Description

  • Participation in a range of investigative casework

  • Conducting research into companies, individuals, and their assets. Identifying and collating information from a variety of public record sources, together with the review, analysis, and presentation of this information

  • Competence in the utilisation of a wide variety of multi-jurisdictional databases

  • Writing comprehensive and professional reports

  • Reviewing, understanding, and summarising source and client documentation and records to develop an investigative plan

  • Assisting in the scoping of new casework and preparation of proposals

  • Interacting directly with clients with the support of senior team members Â, Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a remote first-round interview. Successful applicants will then be asked to complete a timed written exercise remotely, based on a practical case study, to evaluate their research, analytical, and drafting skills. This will be followed by an in-person interview with two team members at our London office.

    While candidates with some industry experience are preferred, we also welcome applications from individuals with no experience who are eager to enter the field.

  • Preferred:
  • Some experience in international commercial investigations

  • Demonstrable expertise in asset tracing casework

  • A track record of delivering high-quality briefing notes and reports

  • Fluency in Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian or Arabic

  • This position supports the Risk, Forensics & Compliance practice - one of seven practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

    Ankura is currently seeking an analyst to join the Asset Tracing and Corporate Intelligence team in our London office. The team specialises in gathering intelligence on assets, people, and companies through desktop research and human intelligence. The clients include lawyers in high-stakes litigation, banks seeking to recover bad debts, and corporations looking to conduct internal investigations into suspected fraud.
