Full Job Description

Ancala Water Services is a private utilities company providing clean and wastewater services to over 1,000 Ministry of Defence sites across England and Wales. And with our network covering a third of the UK, weve got a big job on our hands to ensure our sites run as efficiently as possible. Thats why were looking for an experienced, methodical and proactive administrator to join our high-performing and supportive Assurance team. In this role, youll play a key part by supporting with document control, business management systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Youll also be responsible for performing internal audits and supporting the team with a variety of assurance tasks that are crucial to the smooth-running of the business. You will be a positive and helpful individual who enjoys working as part of a tight-knit team. Maybe youve held a similar role before or perhaps you are seeking a change to make the most of your strong administrative skills. Either way, wed be thrilled to hear from you! What Youll Be Doing:

  • Managing, monitoring and updating our document control databases
  • Conducting internal audits, identifying areas for improvement and assisting with root cause analysis investigations
  • Managing our departments SharePoint pages and adding new content where required
  • Working with the wider team to support with quality system updates and continuous improvement activities
  • Creating training materials to support with roll-out of new and amended procedures
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the team where required and during peak periods such as external audits

    Demonstrable administrative experience in a busy role and team
  • High standard of IT literacy with an intermediate understanding of MS Office
  • Strong numeracy and data skills the ability to feel at ease with data and figures is essential
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal and with good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and to take ownership of your workstreams
  • About you: Due to the nature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidate must:
  • Meet the security clearance requirements for the role which includes, but is not limited to, the successful candidate being a full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 years
