Full Job Description

The primary function of the Assurance product within Elexon is to oversee the delivery of the Performance Assurance Framework (PAF). The PAF enables Elexon to manage and mitigate any risks to the accuracy of data used for energy settlement purposes effectively.
Elexon's Performance Assurance Team frequently meets with its Performance Assurance Board (PAB), a committee established specifically to oversee and ensure the effective performance assurance of BSC parties. The PAB plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency, transparency, and fairness of the electricity market by ensuring all parties adhere to the rules and standards set out in the BSC.
Our Assurance Secretary Administrator is a key member of the Assurance Team, supporting the PAB Chair and Committee with its responsibility of providing secretarial support to all its meetings.
Job Purpose
As directed by the Performance Assurance Managers or PAB Chair, you will contribute to a number of activities to support the running of the Performance Assurance Board (PAB) by:
+ Providing administrative, co-ordination and secretarial support to PAB, Panel and its Committees
+ Publishing and submitting papers, agendas, actions, headline reports, minutes, slides, including finalising and collating these items as required
+ Supporting the development of agendas, annual meeting schedules, papers related to Committee activities e.g. membership changes, meeting dates etc., + The key responsibilities for the Assurance Secretary Administrator is to provide administrative, co-ordination and secretarial support to the Performance Assurance Board (PAB), Panel and Panel Committees, including:
+ Attend Committee meetings and creation of efficient minutes for circulation.
+ Publish and submit papers, agendas, actions, headline reports, minutes, slides, including finalising and collating these items as required from various teams across Elexon.
+ Support development of agendas, annual meeting schedules, papers related to Committee activities e.g. membership changes, meeting dates etc.
+ Maintain and manage a forward looking view of PAB Agenda items.
+ Co-ordinate Internal and External visitors for PAB meetings.
+ Arrange & Co-ordinate Committee meetings, seeking members availability.
+ Support PAB Chair as required.
+ Maintain meeting and membership records, including standing list of experts and support production of management reporting as required.
+ Monitor and manage relevant Committee mailboxes & co-ordinating responses from the Elexon Team
+ Maintain working instructions relating to Committee process's
+ Identify and implement continuous improvements for efficient meetings

+ Have strong communication skills (verbal, and nonverbal, including written)
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

+ Proficient knowledge of relevant internal policies, processes and procedures (or ability to readily acquire such knowledge).
+ Proficient typing skills
+ Proficient in proofreading documents with a high level of accuracy
