ATTENDANCE MANAGER Commencing - January 2025 (or earlier) Salary - £33,945 to £38,223

  • Term Time Only - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Are you passionate about ensuring students have the best chance to succeed through improved attendance? Do you have the experience and skills to lead a team and develop strategies to support students and their families? The Role Watling Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Attendance Officer to lead our attendance team and drive initiatives that improve student attendance. This key role will have overall responsibility for monitoring and improving attendance across the school. Key responsibilities: · Lead a team of Attendance Officers, driving the implementation of attendance strategies. · Monitor student attendance and identify areas of concern, ensuring that effective interventions are in place. · Coordinate attendance interventions and support. · Work closely with staff, students, families, and external agencies to improve attendance. · Manage communication with parents and carers, including written and face-to-face communication. · Support with daily attendance administration, ensuring accuracy of records. What we're looking for: · Experience in attendance management or a related role, within a school setting. · Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships. · Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. · The ability to analyse data and develop strategies for improvement.
