ATTENDANCE OFFICER

Salary - Grade 6, Points 18 - 20 £28,859 - £29,760 Actual (Pay Award Pending)

Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

TTO + 2 Weeks (40 weeks)

Start Date - As soon as possible.

Drayton Manor High School is looking to appoint, as soon as possible, a suitably experienced individual, to continue and further develop a professional service to support the school in raising attendance.

The school is committed to ensuring that all students receive a full-time education which maximises opportunities for each student to realise their true potential. To this end, we aim to encourage and assist all students to achieve excellent levels of attendance and punctuality. We will consistently work towards a goal of 100% attendance for all students.

Drayton Manor High School were recently announced by the Department for Education as one of eighteen new Attendance Hubs across the Country. The school was chosen due to its effective attendance practice.

The successful applicant will be an experienced School Attendance Officer, with a good understanding of statutory frameworks around school attendance. A full range of duties and responsibilities can be found in the job description.
