Full Job Description

  • Conduct welfare checks & home visits, to include; attendance, safeguarding, COP, EBSA, reduced provision.
  • Coordinate provision for pupils not accessing education e.g. arranging tutoring and monitoring attendance at provision.
  • Lead contact for pupils accessing tutoring externally.
  • Oversee reintegration plans for those pupils not accessing education on site or on a reduced provision.
  • Attend early help/TAF/external agency/LA meetings for pupils with low attendance/EBSA/COP
  • Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Response Team
  • Produce weekly timetable, submitted to LM
  • Plan and deliver EBSA intervention
  • Lead contact for attendance with the local authority.
  • Writing intervention reports and case studies for termly review
  • To promote high expectations of all students.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with parents/carers and external agencies and develop positive working relationships., To assist, support and work alongside staff in ensuring positive outcomes are achieved by young people in school.
  • To assist and support young people and families to prevent placement breakdown and maintain family stability, to achieve positive outcomes in the family and community.
  • To organise and deliver a range of support packages/programmes to children and families.
