As part of a team driving multi-year digital and analytics transformation, the Customer Journey Business Analyst evaluates journey flows and engagement throughout the digital journey, providing actionable insights, analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision making focused on customer-centric outcomes.

This role investigates the digital journeys our customers and partners take as they discover us, complete their purchases, enable themselves, and so on. They track performance against core journey metrics to gain insights and inform audience-first experiences across touchpoints.

In addition, this role is core to the digital next best move program to perso nalize experiences through the journey, to accelerate and increase results.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret customer journey behavior by difference audience types.

  • Analyse specified content topics (typically vertical but can be product) to provide insights on digital campaign design and performance, and performance over the relevant journey stages and substages.

  • Investigate, interpret and understand complex modelled and unmodelled data and translate it into value driven insight.

  • Produce insights to support better marketing planning, campaign design and goal effectiveness.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, share analytical insights meaningfully to wide-ranging audiences.

  • Design, develop and deploy dashboards (PowerBI) and reports for stakeholders to track the effectiveness of journeys and key performance metrics.

  • Work with other analysts, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure we have the data required to support and deliver analytics and key reporting metrics.

  • Participate in the data and analytics community through collaborations, sharing of best practices, learnings and insights.

  • Evolve the existing journey flow and touchpoint analysis approach program to broaden the capacity and impact of the team.

    Power Bi or other visualization tool

  • Marketing oriented and data-driven individual

  • Knowledge of data architecture, warehouses, business intelligence tools and data management platforms.

  • Attention to detail with ability to stand back to see the bigger picture for greater understanding.

  • Ability to identify the relevant data sources that constitute marketing data profiles.

  • Analysis skills, what-if thinking and data-curiosity. Identify data characteristics to drive segmentation.

  • Mapping data gaps and managing approaches to acquire missing data.

  • Robust approach to measurement for proof-based results.

  • Ability to create recommendations from data analysis for segmentation and targeting.

  • Knowledge of digital journey engagement flows, engagement scoring and reporting.

  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and application across the customer and partner journey.

  • Building new ways to visualize and share data in self-service dashboards.

  • Strong partnering with key teams to share best data practices, governance and skills exchange; collaborates well with other subject matter expe rts.
