Full Job Description

Epic Games is searching for an Audio Dialogue Lead with a passion for world-class immersive sound to work on our collaboration with Disney. In this talented team of veteran and emerging artists, you'll collaborate across teams and contribute directly to the next Epic project. In this role, you will

  • Foster and spread an audio discipline culture based on ownership, cross-discipline collaboration, and craftsmanship while helping raise the quality level of audio in all Epic game titles and technologies
  • Engage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiences
  • Build schedules and budgets for all phases of VO production, including localization
  • Push the development of audio features and integration for future Unreal audio engine development
  • Lead creative vision for dialogue and spearhead collaborative efforts to achieve said vision
  • Oversee the overall quality of dialogue content: actor performance, engineering, in-game experience, interactive and pre-rendered linear cinematics
  • Appraise VO talent performance quality, particularly during the casting/talent coordination phase

    Must have shipped at least three AAA titles and have 7 years of experience as part of a game audio dialog team
  • Fluency in all phases of interactive dialogue production and post-production
  • Proficiency with all phases of dialogue design - editing, mixing/mastering, processing, and implementation
  • Experience working with established IP, A-list talent, voice directors, and external partners
  • Familiarity with SAG union restrictions and standards
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is preferred
  • Knowledge of dialogue and recording hardware for voiceover recording
  • Experience working with localization teams and handling localization assets
  • Experience with casting and voice directing is preferred, but not required
