Full Job Description
This role requires the need to provide comprehensive support service to the Audiology Team and provide general admin duties
To work as part of a team which provides comprehensive administrative support to Hearing Services, and provide a high quality and accurate audio/copy typing service to Hearing Services as required., Provide comprehensive support service to Audiology Team and general admin duties.
Provide copy and audio typing service from dictation of clinical letters for Medical Audiology Doctor and general correspondence for Audiologists - including administration and distribution
Take notes from meetings - transcribe and distribute
Carry out full range of admin duties for the Audiology Team including filing, scanning of correspondence to electronic patient records, photocopying, sending out of standard letters and reports
Deal with incoming and outgoing post to the department including handling of new referrals and external correspondence
Deal with and action all emails sent to the department's two email addresses - includes handling of referrals, enquiries from patients and other health professionals and forwarding to the appropriate Audiologist as required if unable to resolve.
Deal with telephone enquiries from patients, other health professionals and outside agencies, passing on to the appropriate person if the request is outside your remit - including actioning of all voicemail messages on the main office telephone line, We are committed to being an inclusive employer and accurate data capture is an important part of that to ensure we are supportive and representative.
