Please refer to the supporting documents section to retrieve the JD detailing the core responsibilities of this role, duties will include but not be limited to the following: To participate in hearing aid services for NHS and private patients, including: Assisting with assessment of new patients referred via GP. Selection and fitting of appropriate hearing aids together with instruction to the patient or carers and advice on use. Follow-up visits to assess patients benefit and give further advice or training where required. Reassessment appointments to re-evaluate the needs of patients whose hearing has deteriorated and fit appropriate hearing aids. Undertaking walk-in repair clinics to deal with maintenance, repairs and advice to existing users.,

  • Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
  • Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
  • A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
  • Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
  • Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

    We are looking for an experienced community Audiologist who have the skills, knowledge and experience to coordinate and provide holistic outpatient diagnostic audiology testing to patients.
