Full Job Description

As a member of the Internal Audit department, you'll share our passion for adding value to our people, customers, communities, and stakeholders. You'll provide robust, independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank. As an Auditor, you'll be joining a diverse and growing team that provides tangible commercial impact across our entire business and will have exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation. You'll be participating in Audits to assess the control environment and regulatory adherence related to Finance and Markets businesses. The difference you'll make:

  • Participating in assurance activities related to Finance and Markets (such as, Accounting, Finance, Capital, Liquidity, Markets or Structural Risk), ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements
  • Supporting different aspects of the audit from planning, identification of key risks and testing during fieldwork stage
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required

    Educated to degree level in a Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar subject. Recent graduates will also be considered
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in related areas, for example internal controls, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Audit
  • It would also be nice for you to have:
  • Good Excel knowledge
  • Exposure to the use of Data Analytics and programming (for example, Python, SQL)
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry, products and services, and regulatory framework in which the bank operates, We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop.
