This is an exciting opportunity for 1 year fixed term/ secondment. The right candidates will join the complex needs team as an autism liaison practitioner, The post holder will use their fixed term tenure to influence the development and delivery of a liaison service for neurodivergent patients accesing our services., As part ofseekingto become more inclusive, we will consider requests for flexible working from the start of your employment. The key duties of this job are to be an advocate and adviser for autistic people of all ages within our secondary healthcare environment and to be an adviser to trust staff in how to achieve equitable healthcare outcomes for this group of patients. The role involves co production, and also visible and close collaborative working with colleagues in both the hospital and community settings, raising awareness about the reasonable adjustment needs of neurodivergent patients.
