Apprenticeship Opportunity: Autocare Technician with Robert Bosch LtdOverview:
An exciting apprenticeship opportunity is available at your local automotive workshop, delivered by Robert Bosch Ltd. This role is designed for individuals passionate about cars, offering a chance to learn all aspects of the Autocare Technician job while gaining hands-on experience.

Commitment: Must be dedicated to the Apprenticeship Programme.
Passion and Ambition: Keen interest in growing into a highly skilled Autocare Technician.
Educational Qualifications: Minimum grade 2 or above in Maths & English at GCSE level or equivalent.

Duties Include:

Fundamentals of specific vehicle systems, including but not limited to:

Steering & suspension
Braking systems
Battery & charging systems
Exhaust systems
Air-conditioning systems

Additional elements embedded into the qualification to enhance the delivery of the Level 2 Autocare standard, such as, This means your college based training will be delivered away from home and you will be required to stay in a hotel for 12 separate weeks (Mon - Fri) over the 24 - 30 month duration of the apprenticeship.
All associated costs for training are met by the employer/the programme and there will be no cost to yourself/your parents or guardians.
Assessments will also be conducted in the work place by a dedicated training assessor. You will also be assigned a workplace mentor for support in dealership.
As a result you will receive the following qualification:

• Autocare Technician Level 2

There may also be opportunity to progress to the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2 Autocare Technician standard.

Interpersonal skills and customer service
Parts & managing stock levels
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
FGAS
Basic electrical vehicle awareness

Career Progression:
There may also be opportunities to progress to the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2 Autocare Technician standard.
Qualification:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve the Autocare Technician Level 2 qualification.
