Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our New Building department. With the growth and expansion of the team and fleet we are looking for an Automation Process (Software) Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of "operational" processes across the New Building department.,

  • Automation Solution Design & Development
  • Develop automation solutions to streamline processes using appropriate tools and technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow automation software, scripting, API integration).Design and implement workflows, scripts, and software configurations that meet departmental requirements and ensure scalability. Ensure solutions align with best practices in coding, testing, and automation architecture.
  • Cross-Departmental Integration & Expansion
  • Extend successful automation solutions to other departments, fostering standardization and integration across the organization. Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to ensure compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Documentation & Training
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for automated processes, ensuring they are easy to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot. Train staff on new automated processes and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement & Optimization Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed. Keep abreast of advancements in automation technology, recommending new tools or approaches to enhance departmental capabilities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all automated solutions adhere to organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify potential risks associated with automation, implementing safeguards and backup processes as necessary.

    You will play a key role in driving automation initiatives that align with our organization's strategic goals, modernizing our day-to-day operations, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration. This role aims to transform manual, repetitive tasks into streamlined, technology-driven workflows that enhance productivity and reduce human error. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically skilled professional who is passionate about transforming traditional, manual workflows into efficient, automated solutions, helping drive significant operational improvements across the organization.,
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java; proficiency with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere); strong experience with workflow automation platforms.
  • Process Mapping & Design: Ability to assess, map, and document complex processes; skilled in using tools like Visio, Lucid chart, or other process mapping software.
  • Data Integration & APIs: Experience in API integration and handling data flow between systems; familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Testing & Debugging: Skilled in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting automated solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, gathering input from various stakeholders and fostering alignment.

  • Experience
  • Automation Engineering Background: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or a related field, with a focus on process automation.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements in operational environments; Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
  • Cross-Departmental Projects: Proven experience in leading or participating in projects that involve multiple departments or stakeholders.
  • Solid, clear and precise written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strength in communicating, collaborating, and influencing in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, presentation and visualization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English and other languages considered as an advantage.
