The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Automotive Key Account Sales Executive for the Automotive and Aerospace Division (AASD) (preferably located in the Midlands), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading all key account sales activity for core 3M AASD Solutions, implementing the Automotive Division Strategy, including Portfolio and Operational priorities.

  • Driving high levels of customer engagement and collaboration across various functional teams and stakeholders within the customer's organization, leading to growth in account relationship, pipeline, and sales.

  • Implementing core 3M AASD solutions in the customer's processes in close collaboration with application engineering and other internal 3M functional teams.

  • Establishing the right 3M solutions and the path to success based on customer engagement, insights and deep process understanding.

  • Support being part of the growing Global AASD Sales team, sharing success and learning from each other.

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Scientific/Engineering background preferred)

  • Previous experience as technical sales or business development within Automotive industry., Advanced communication and prioritization skills with the ability to drive engagement/lead relationships and collaboration on multiple levels across many organizations.

  • Ability to work in a technical/engineering environment with complex products.

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Proactive and a strong networker

  • Team player with lots of energy

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
